Lifestyle

Living within a vibrant community brings many rewards.

There is companionship whenever you want it and more often than not, you’ll find many of those around you have similar interests to you.  They understand the value of a close-knit community and are always willing to help.

While privacy is cherished, people mix freely and often.  They chat in the street and join each other in social activities and day trips.  All residents at Bentley Park are accepted as individuals and respected for their valuable contribution to our community.

All Bentley Park residents are members of the Social Club and are encouraged to participate in the many activities staged throughout the year.  The resident committee of the Social Club organises a varied program of quality entertainment with coming events advertised in our monthly newsletter “The Tidings”.

Staying busy and active

Although there are lots of activities and opportunities to mix socially at Bentley Park, most people are unlikely to change their lifestyle completely.  Old friends and family members still visit and there are still meetings to attend, appointments to keep and people to catch up with.  It’s just now you have more time to do it.

Safety and Security

One of the rewards of retirement is being able to travel and discover new places.  To have the means to simply get up and go.  But leaving your home unattended for long periods can sometimes be a worrying thought.  Residents at Bentley Park say that knowing neighbours and on-site staff are keeping an eye on their home adds extra enjoyment and peace of mind to their trip.

A Satisfying Home

It is surprising how quickly residents at Bentley Park seem to wear that look of satisfaction after moving here.  They’re in their new home where everything works as it should, it’s easy to get around and there is a sense of order.  There are people nearby if you need them however your only responsibility is to yourself and getting the most out of every day.

Social Activities

There are many choices in social and leisure activities, most of which are coordinated by the residents themselves, and all have access to first-class venues and resources.  Many are long established groups and clubs, however new recreation interests are encouraged and supported.  A thriving computer club, Tai Chi group and a state-of-the-art outdoor bowls facility with clubhouse are examples of the diversity of recreation options available.
